Quality Improvement
Includes QI initiatives, service developments, QI literature synthesis and meta-analysis, innovation in healthcare, comparative effectiveness research. A stand-alone audit is considered to be of low significance unless it has generated change which on re-audit can be shown to have shown sustained improvement in care.
Transitions and MDT working
Aligning with this year’s conference theme on “Transition and leading together”, we are specifically inviting abstract submissions focused on areas of transition including but not limited to: transition at birth, to enteral and/or oral feeding, from respiratory support, between the neonatal unit and transitional care, or hospital to home. These may include the development of new Service pathways. We are particularly interested in projects involving and co-authored with the whole MDT.
Improving Family or Staff Experience
Includes descriptions of projects or interventions with the aim of improving the neonatal experience for families or staff.
